Vlog Premiere! Ready for Take Off

Over the last several months several people have encouraged me to do a video diary of my experiences & preparations for Trea, #3. I've never had any inclination to be in front of the camera, the subject. Like ever! My passion has slways been behind the camera, revealing the story shot by shot, frame by frame. I never wanted to be in front of that lense, the one that opens doors to infinite new stories, new possibilities, new worlds. But then again, I never wanted to be a patient afflicted with a rare, degenerative respiratorydisease, a TBMer, either. I mean how could I? I'd never ever heard of anything even remotely close to this disease. So, here I am now, in front of the camera opening a whole new world for people as I tell my story of living with TBM.

I really have no solid plans as to how this story will go; it's free to reveal itself as we go. I do know I want this to be an educational tool for those who've never heard of TBM, has TBM, or knows someone with TBM. I will share day to day challenges as well as victories, because there are victories that need to be celebrated. I will educate you on the tools of the trade, so to speak, and all of the different treatments, medications, surgeries, machinery, and of course medical personnel that we have, or in some cases do not have, at our disposal. I will be as real, honest, and vulnerable as I possibly can in order to give you the real story of TBM. Why take this on otherwise? I hope you find it educational, engaging & interesting, but most importantly human.
